Engineered wood flooring is constructed of three pieces of wood, which include a hardwood layer on top. It is typically easier to install and offers a wide range of design, styles and finishes.

Bausen Timber Flooring

Bausen Timber Flooring, made from the worlds naturally regenerating constructional material. The Bausen range of solid and engineered flooring offers a wide range of species to tailor make any interior design.

Supplied tongued and grooved with ends matched and 5* layers of U V cured lacquer or oil based finish to create a closed pore sealed surface, adding strength, stability and resistance to moisture. All boards have a micro bevel profile giving completed floors a consistent joint detail.

Bausen prides itself on high standards of manufacture through the use of modern technology to achieve the best finish from the selected natural wood species.

*Our Antique Range offers 7 layers of toughened UV cured lacquer.

Bausen are proud that they can now offer selected solid product with the Q Mark assurance of quality. The Bausen range of flooring are the first of their kind to hold a Q Mark. The Q-Mark Wood Flooring Scheme is a third-party product certification scheme operated by BM TRADA Certification Ltd (BM TRADA).

The scheme is based on recognised quality assurance standards (ISO9001).

The importance of environmental considerations is fully recognised and procurement of raw material is based on our manufacturers sourcing from suppliers that are commited to a strong forestry policy.

The Bausen range includes products that have third party certification.  Engineered One Strip Plank, Programme for the Endorsement of Certification Schemes (PEFC) is available in a variety of species plus our new Manor Oak range of solid flooring, which is Forest Stewardship Certified (FSC).

We aim to continue to add third party certified products to our range, where considered to meet the high quality specification set out for Bausen, to meet the demands of our customers.

The Bausen range of solid hardwood flooring offers a wide range of species to tailor make any interior design. Supplied tongued and grooved with ends matched and 5* layers if UV cured lacquer or UV oil based finish to create a closed pore sealed surface, added strength, stability and resistance to moisture. All boards have a micro bevel profile giving complete floors a consistent joint detail. Whatever treatment a wooden floor has received it will inevitably require some degree of maintenance. The form that this will take will be affected by many factor such as type of finish, level of trafficking, climatic conditions and positioning of doorways and entrances. It is important to note the considerable differences between maintaining a floor treated with oil and one treated with a polyurethane lacquer. Recommendations for each are described in this brochure.
